The
second annual Comm Ave Charity
Classic will bring squads of BU and BC alums together at Walter Brown Arena
on Friday, July 15. This year’s event—with puck drop at 7:05 p.m.—will benefit Compassionate
Care ALS and The Travis Roy Foundation. Last summer’s game drew 3,500 fans and
raised more than $55,000. Seventeen former Terriers will suit up for the home
team: Nick Bonino, Adam Clendening, Colby Cohen, Charlie Coyle, Matt Gilroy,
Matt Grzelcyk, Chris Higgins, Pete MacArthur, John McCarthy, Shawn McEachern, Matt
O’Connor, Danny O’Regan, Jay Pandolfo, Tom Poti, Evan Rodrigues, Brian Strait
and Sean Sullivan.

Head Coach David Quinn told the Boston Herald’s Stephen Harris that he plans to
remain in the college ranks for the foreseeable future even if the pros come
calling. The former NHL first-round draft pick, who is entering his third year
at the Terrier helm, also talked about recruiting challenges and the
characteristics needed for a team that can “win championships.”

camp, looking to make an impression prior to training camp.
Rising
sophomore Ryan Cloonan will join graduated Danny O’Regan (photo) at Sharks camp. In April, O'Regan signed a two-year entry-level deal with San
Jose, which has 18 college affiliated players in camp.
