senior wing Evan Rodrigues will sign a two-year entry level contract with the Buffalo
Sabres, according to several media reports. NHL agent Brian Bartleet tweeted that the winger from Ontario evaluated multiple offers.
Rodrigues enjoyed a career-best — and second in the nation—season in 2014-15 scoring 61 points (21G, 40A). He was named Hockey East’s Player of the Month in both January and March as well as Most Outstanding Player in the NCAA Northeast Regional. It is expected that the Sabres will use the second overall pick in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft to select Rodrigues’ linemate, freshman Jack Eichel.

the BU recruits playing in the USHL, only Bellows’ team remains alive in the
league playoffs, as Sioux Falls eliminated Sioux City (Carpenter) and Youngtown
(Letunov and Vas Kolias) fell to Muskegon. Bellows scored 33 goals in the
regular season and has added two more in the playoffs.
